After a successful debut campaign, word has come from CNN's Wolf Blitzer today that Five Against Run has been renewed for a second campaign. The race takes place on Sunday, May 6th and will cover a new course in downtown Pittsburgh. Details still being ironed out but the buzz is that two teams of five are taking the streets on that Sunday in unison, for a run at glory and infinite possibilities.
Five Against Run's The Fixer will hold a new conference sometime by the end of the week and Rob Lowe will give his predictions as to what lies ahead with the two teams of 10. Will there be a name change? Will everyone be back from the 2011 run? Will Bully Bars sponsor the team this time around?
Stay tuned for information on the new team members and legs they're running, possible new logos, Q & A's, promos, and general hijinx for the sophomore effort of, what Jim Nantz is calling, "A tradition in the making....Five Against Run...now doubled to ten."
